Mills Shop Building and Property Lease

The City of Mills is seeking proposals from business owners or entrepreneurs interested in leasing the city owned shop building located at 720 Fifth Street in Mills. The city built the building on the property in 2002 to use as its Public Works facility, however, the city outgrew the facility and purchased an alternate property to house the Public Works department. The building has been mostly vacant for two years. It currently houses the city’s animal control animals for which there are minimal animals housed. The city is preparing to relocate the animal control out of this building. Mills City Council is seeking proposals from individuals or businesses interested in leasing the building for use during normal working and business hours to respect the nearby residential neighborhood.
