ADVERTISEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK PROPOSALS

FOR

OFFICE / ANIMAL CONTROL BUILDING

FOR THE

CITY OF MILLS

 

 

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Wyoming Statutes Sections 15-1-113 and 16-6-701 that the City of Mills, Wyoming, will receive sealed proposals until 2:00 p.m., Local Time, June 24, 2021, for the following: 

 

Detailed design and construction of a combined office and animal control building, including a pre-engineered steel building and appurtenances, serving the City of Mills, Wyoming.

 

Proposals must be sealed and identified with the statement thereon "PROPOSAL ENCLOSED, CONSTRUCTION MANANAGER AT RISK (CMAR) PROPOSAL FOR CITY OF MILLS ANIMAL CONTROL BUILDING," and submitted to Mills City Hall, 704 4th Street, Mills, Wyoming, at or before the above stated time.  Proposals will be evaluated by the City Council. No Proposal may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for opening thereof.  The City of Mills, Wyoming, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities or technicalities in the proposal process.  The Council also reserves the right to interview prospective candidates, if the board deems necessary.

 

Proposal Documents, including the Request for Proposals, will be available from the WLC Engineering & Surveying office, 200 Pronghorn Street, Casper, Wyoming, 82601; on June 1, 2021.  Prospective CMAR firms may obtain one set upon request.

 

 

The successful CMAR firm will be required to execute an AIA CMAR Standard Form Agreement with the City of Mills, with the form being supplied by the successful CMAR firm, within thirty (30) days after Notice of Award is issued.  The Notice of Award shall serve as notice that the Agreement is ready for execution.  Notice is hereby given that preference is hereby given to materials, supplies, agricultural products, equipment, machinery and provisions produced, manufactured, or grown in Wyoming, or supplied by a resident of the State, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside of the State, as required by W.S. Section 16‑6‑106.

 

A Mandatory Pre‑Proposal Conference will be held at 11:00 a.m., Local Time, June 15, 2021da, at the project location, 240 Chamberlain Road, Mills, Wyoming.  A site tour may be held to review the project following this conference.

 

 

Attendance in the Pre-Proposal Conference is mandatory for Construction Managers at Risk firms who wish to be considered qualified and/or responsible.
