Residential Sanitation

The following services are provided for the fee as detailed on the water bill:

• Once a week, curbside solid waste collection.
• Extra collection occurs every other Thursday and must be scheduled.
• Container Care – No cost repair and maintenance program.
• Solid waste collection in city parks.
• Solid waste collection in rights-of-way
• Street sweeping operations.
• Summer Pest Control – (Mosquito Mitigation)
• Stormwater Management – Runoff mitigation, drainage maintenance.
• One monthly balefill pass.
  • Good for one car, pick-up, or 8′ trailer load of garbage.
  • Passes can be picked up from city hall.
• Free recycling at 9 depots

As per City ordinance, all trash MUST be bagged and securely tied or taped closed.

Containers need to be rolled into the gutter next to the curb by 7a.m. on collection day.

No solid waste will be collected on New Year’s Day, Christmas Day, or Thanksgiving Day. All solid waste collection will occur on the following business day.

Residents who receive curbside service are provided one 95-gallon roll-out container per household.

• Additional 95-gallon roll-out containers can be requested.
• Each additional container incurs a $15.00 monthly charge.

Commercial Sanitation

The following services are provided in accordance with sanitation fees:

• Weekly, rear load solid waste collection.
  • Frequency based on customer request, customizable to accommodate.   

As per City ordinance, all solid waste MUST be bagged and securely tied or taped closed.

Containers need to be accessible by the rear load truck at 7 a.m. on collection day.

No solid waste will be collected on City Holidays. All solid waste collection will occur before or on the next business day.

Customers who receive rear load service have the option to purchase or lease containers from the city.
